WHen I made my first pass through the entries, this horse was the only one in the field who got a checkmark. In that CD race, against a higher claiming level, he bobbled at the start, was rushed up to get the lead and tired - I can forgive that. Only problem is that race over mud - it rained overnight here in the Bluegrass. By the way, I had 5 ? horses in this race; really up for grabs.

agree with you on that last point, it could many different ways.

This is the profile of a winner. Dosent need the headlines just the paycheck. Was he a home bred? Has he ever been claimed or changed hands. How much did he go for in any sale?

Good questions, he certainly doen't appear to have changed hands much via the claim box although he does dip into the claiming races from time to time on the higher end. There is no sale price listed. He is an Illinois bred. They spot him usually in allowances or small stakes in the region.

But like you say, he has the profile of a winner and the consistency that I admire. He just doesn't run any awful races.

i love the horse but hate the trainer, witthauers a f'n butcher! he claimed one of my trainers horses last year and this past spring ran him in a alw@hawthorne and the horse literally limped off the track, well 2 weeks later witthauer shipped back up from fairmount and ran him and poor bunny(rip) broke down, this a$$hole knew how bad the horse was and still ran him. well one of the owners in the barn paid bunnies vet bills ata clinic in MO but he only survived for a couple months and hada be put down
