For the record, he's a Libertarian.

Call me crazy (you usually do) but I doubt the Marxist currently occupying the White House will offer anyone with contrasting views an opportunity to speak at his little party next week.

Riot believes that anyone who doesn't love Obama and follow him hook, line and sinker is a conservative Republican who is an anti-abortion, gun fanatic, racist, anti-female, anti-gay, rich old white man.

Racist.

Hey you know what I noticed last weekend?

You had this incredible day... just brilliant.

So not to get too personal or anything but do you suppose there was any kinda correlation between your truly phenomenal day and the fact that weren't down here having a toxic play date?

Just wondering.

You really need to look up what a "marxist" is, because if you honestly think Obama is a marxist (or a communist), yes, you are indeed crazy.

He's basically useless like George Clooney. A paid shill that the sheep know.
Either he's nuts or doesn't know what he stands for. Because Mitt Romney is anything but conservative.

Mitt is whatever Adelson and the Kochs want him to be. Romney's concern as president will be the success of private business, period.

If Romney gets elected and owns enough guys in congress, he will deregulate and privatize all the treasury funds he can (Medicare and ACA, Social Security, defense spending)

The Tea Party and all the social crap, the race-baiting, the religious extremism, the outrageously conservative GOP platform, etc. is just a distraction for the little people and media - it's part of the Lions-Christians Colosseum show mix put on by the Emperors to make the some still want to vote "R" They are being used.

This is not to say Dems are without fault. But I think the Democratic Party is still a real political party. The current GOP is not. The best that would happen is for the Libertarians/Tea Party to refuse to cowtow to Romney and friends, and create a strong third party to replace the fading former Republican (read businessman) Party's place as the alternative major party in the country.

I think the better outcome is Obama getting re-elected.

The conservatives will b.itch and moan but life will go on.

If Obama loses there could be riots in big cities...thus all the weird supply orders by big brother

"Conservative" in the USA as represented by the GOP is fractured and destroyed. There is the John Birch Society types, the Pat Robertson/Rick Santorum religious zealots; then the Libertarians who don't want to be associated with those loons.

The "moderate and intellectual conservatives" (Colin Powell, etc) have abandoned and call themselves independents. Jeb Bush is hanging on to the party, but he see's what is going down, as does Condi Rice.

The Republican Party brand is now a shell corporation owned by Romney-Adelson-Koch types. Citizens United was a big step in that.

The Libertarians and Paulites have figured it out. They won't play with that GOP any more. That's good for the country.

Best hope in my eyes for a strong two-party system is if the Libertarians/Paulites create a new strong party to replace the current shell corporation.

They need votes, though, so that puts the religious loons back up for grabs, being fought over by the shell corp and the Libertarians.

The threats of violence are coming from the Obama-hating far right. Seriously, I'm more worried about violence when he wins.

And I say "when", because I don't see any road for Romney to purchase 270 electoral votes at this time. But anything can happen.
