And a very nice double it was too. $84 x 5= $420. Funny, I never even think about playing doubles. Can't even remember the last time I played a double at the track, but can remember when that was the only exotic bet you could play.

I've played more doubles this meet than I have in the last 5 years combined. When the P4's were proving difficult early on, I suggested cutting back to P3's and DD's and it's been a big boost. And watching the double will pays -- more than I had in the recent past -- has been a side bonus too.

Iron Prospect.. Well done on the DD. The Colony Strike price was bizarre.

DD's have been the best play in this meet. They kept me above water for sure!!

Nothing wrong with playing doubles and I wasn’t trying to imply that there was. I was just thinking out loud about my own use of the double or lack of and when and why I stopped using that wager any more. I think it’s because I tend to be a single race player for the most part, with a few exceptions. I’ve noticed that the guys on the daily “play around” use it a lot with success. I am definitely on autopilot a bit too much sometimes and could stand to be a bit more flexible.
