Very cool.. Congrats Bob and all involved all along the way. Shows how far the tentacles reach in creating a winner!

One of the cool things about Top Royelle's win here is that I brought 3 of my favorite racetrackers to the winner circle.

Two local pimps -- the Tate Brothers to my left -- and the janitor Paul to my right (one of the few holdover workers from The Erie Downs)

I called that horse 'Jason Voorhees' -- by the point after the race we claimed her, she wasn't eating much, couldn't train much, and was doing ridiculously poor to the point of needing X-ray's and tests to reassure us she was sound enough to race. When she walked to the track -- her whole attitude changed.

Quite unbelievably, she ran a good 3rd and a 1st in her first two races after the claim. As soon as she turned in her first non-effort, she was lucky to have a great past owner like Bob get her back.

Congratulations!! Something about breeding them, and then showing the patience required to get them to the track the right way, that makes it extra special.

Yeah, you forget about the constant drain they are when things like yesterday happen.

61 Beyer. Should be useful in the Il bred ranks.

Congrats Bob! Always a little sweeter with one you bred yourself. Congrats on the engagement as well. Now, will the horses or the spouse do you in first?

Wow, one heck of an awesome, memorable day, congratulations, Bob!

A Top Royalle baby, that's so cool.
