Default Roger Huston

He claims to have called over 160,000 races.

If you've never heard him in action:

That was an exciting performance to watch ... but this man could make paint drying seem exciting.

He doesn't sound much different for a conditioned claimer.

Yep.

Here's another vintage harness classic.

Robust Hanover does a Life At Ten and collapses in the post parade...

The tv interview after the incident was the best part:

My favorite Huston expression is he when he names the last place horse and says, "and ___________ can see them all."

I remember Jack E. Lee saying that at Freehold all the time. Did he steal it?

Not sure CJ but i know Houston has been doing it for 30+ years at the Meadows. Not really a harness fan but that is the local track.

OMG! That was wicked.

I haven't seen too much of this guy. I don't know where I've been.

If you get a chance, track down a few more of your favorite calls.

when i hear his voice, i know i've had a bad day at the track:
a) b/c i'm wagering on the meadows
b) b/c i'm probably chasing my t-bred losses from earlier in the day
c) b/c i'm hoping dave palone doesn't click under 4-5 so i can bet $100 show on him

" aaaaaaaa 3...................... 6........................................and 1" his stories and results are well drawn out
