Unless the horse ran off on him, that was a pathetic ride.

That was a deliberate move by him. I understand that he sensed that the 7 was walking on the front end, but it was not his job to challenge the 7 from where he was, it was Bridgmohan's job on the 11. When you make a move like that you either better have the best horse by a mile or you will end up last giving other horses a dream set up, which is just what happened. Did he really think the 7 was so bad that he would blow by that horse? There was not a chance of that happening. He sets it up for two over bet plugs to battle it out. He is lucky I don't own the 8, I would have smacked him for that ride. That is the second time this meet that I can recall that he has made such a stupid move like that, you would have thought he would have learned the first time.

After watching the head on, I completely agree. That idiotic move was his own doing. The only reason I thought that the horse might have run off, was because Rosario never tried to save an inch of ground on the first turn. I thought maybe she was rank and he was just trying to get her out from behind horses. That was clearly not the case.

Great ride on the 3 there by Espinoza. Full of run and he has to put a hammerlock on him.
