A precocious 2 year old that is just making it back to the races in August of her 3 year old year for Asmussen. What's the over/under on races she has left in her career...2 or 3?

Royal Delta is head and shoulders the best female dirt horse in the world.

As much as I like this Chile filly, it's very premature to think she can beat Royal Delta in a fairly run race.

If Jeff Mullins had the Chile filly, maybe you could jump the gun.

What did you think about Royal Delta today? I mentioned that Royal Delta's last didn't impress me and I think she's continuing to go the other way.

Royal Delta's race will look fine on a sheet -- as Smith had her wide the whole way and she gave the winner 10lbs at 9 furlongs (abt 3.75 lengths in weight on Thoro-Graph and Ragozin)

It wasn't the good Royal Delta, though. Certainly not the one we've seen at Churchill Downs in the Ladies Classic or at Chuchill on the Foster undercard this year.

I thought she looked like garbage. That's how I'll view her now. I'm not an excuse maker. She didn't run against much and she didn't run like much. Maybe she can do better on dirt but today was dreadful.

Don't you think she maybe lacked room when others were beginning to make their moves?

I hope she comes back better than ever....because she's good.

I'm just skeptical and I'm sure you can appreciate that.

I don't have a skeptical bone in my body.

I've always thought of Drysdale as a really conservative trainer. This tells me that he really likes this filly.

I was hoping to see her on dirt.

That's an aggressive spot -- even if 10 furlongs should suit her.
