It is not farfetched that Spitzer rolls over the franchise to NYRA.
It's quite possible he'll do just that. He need a case to get him elected and found "little things" to start the ball running versus NYRA. I STILL don't trust him though!

He needed a case to get him elected? Are you clueless. Nobody outside of racing has an idea about NYRA and Spitzer. Spitzer made his reputation going after corruption on Wall Street, not some group like NYRA, which nobody has heard of.

How do you guys know racing won't get better under Excelsior. They seemed to do just fine with the Yankees and helping run Donald Trumps business, not to mention Gary Contessa and the New York Horsemen's Association supports them.

Defending corrupt jokers like NYRA is disgusting. They should have been kicked out long ago but the state had to keep them around because of the contract.

BYE BYE NYRA. Hello competent people. I think the son-in-law of the Yankees owner and one of Trump's top advisors are just a little more qualified than some corrupt thugs.

That might be all true. I'd like to see him ask for adendums to the bids stating how the 3 tracks and training surfaces will move to a synthetic surface. All bidders have dodged this multimillion dollar improvement.

Tell me exactly how the Yankees are a model business? The people who run the Yankees haven't been able win a championship in 7 years with an giant financial advantage. And unless they do some wise spending in the off season, they'll be closer to Finger Lakes than NYRA in racing terms.

What exactly has been wrong with NYRA's racing product, answer me this! It beats any other racing in the country. As for Spitzer, just another lawyer who became governor. What will he do any better and any other pol. I guess YOUR just another "bleeding heart lib" who thinks anything that comes from the party in power is the end all to corruption. You've all ready made him a saint! We shall see, but the "new" runners of racing in the state of N.Y. won't have an easy time when all the pols want the money to themselves.
I guess we've found where our old pal, Nostra's has been. You must be his twin brother!
