it's still not quite a level playing field, and there are still plenty of races that a female rider has yet to win. probably just not as big a deal anymore.

Female jocks have ridden only twice in the gold cup and both mounts were Chantal. All she needed to do was stay on the horse for the win. Rosie Napravnik is by far the best between them and probably one of the better jocks in the country right now.

Its been pretty bad the last couple weeks, but hard to blame the trainers and owners, they are running for considerably more money at Del Mar.
