The BC was my dream vacation. I met a lot of people, saw a lot of great horses up close early in the morning on the backside (although getting three hours a sleep every night did me in), and I had a ton of fun. That trip determined where I want to be for the rest of my life as far as my career goes...I definitely want a job in the industry, and I'm going to go get one. I learned a whole lot about myself on that trip, and my path became clear. I'm not spinning in circles anymore, and I'm chomping at the bit to go wherever the horses take me. I don't know why I was fighting it for so long. It is where I belong.

The highlights of my trip were watching Dreaming of Anna and Ouija Board win their races.

Another highlight was seeing my man, Bernardini, up close on Wednesday evening when I arrived in Louisville. Although, I guess I have to get another man because they retired him. LOL.
