Jorge Chavez and Channing Hill are the only NY "regulars" to even try to make it out there in the last 5 years. What they had in common is that at that stage of their respective careers neither could really ride at all.

It's almost all fashion with jockeys.

You can pull a guy like Pablo Morales out of the jockey room here at PID and if you put him on the mounts of mostly all of the big-name jockeys, you'd see no difference in long-term production.

Channing Hill is BEYOND putrid. Never really followed NY when he was there, but he has been putrid here this meet. This was the first time I had a chance to watch him ride and I'm shocked he could even win races in NY.
