Hey ed this sucks! When do things pick up... August?
I wanted to ask you if Opie, who I do like so very much, has a history of mental illness (?). If so I'm very sorry to hear it and if not can you or can anyone please explain to me why he dropped the mount on Gingerbread Man for Red Beard in the upcoming Derby at Kranji? ![]() |

Haha, it does seem like a strange move! I'm not aware of him having any problems with mental illness.
The first G1 of the new season is at Hastings on September 1. Mufhasa, He's Remarkable, Veyron... Can't wait! There have been some nice 2yo performances in the last few weeks, but nothing really spectacular. Hopefully things will start to pick up soon. |

I miss seeing those names!
So Opies horse was last (I still haven't even watched it) Gingerbread Man midfield somewhere, sadly cannot remember the name of the horse who did win BUT HUGE news and the reason it's here and not on the very popular Singapore thread...Guess who is there and who raced on Sunday (in the Gold Trophy with Waikato and Capt. Obvious) (oh and he finished 7th but...) Upsala! Don't get me wrong I'd rather see him at home but it was very cool being surprised like that. (Okay now they need to send him home). ![]() edit - Chase Me won the Derby. Last edited by my miss storm cat : 07-17-2012 at 07:49 PM. Reason: Derby winner |
