I understand the analogy is weak.

I'm not sure why people just assume that horseman WILL always be unethical or attempt to cheat.

Of course any industry will have a small sub-section of people that attempt to break the rules.

However I choose to believe the best. If I was an assistant trainer trying to eventually go out on my own with just a few horses, while still trying to pay the bills for my family. There's nothing I'd enjoy more than kicking my bosses butt if we happened to each have a horse in the race.

I choose to believe that people are honest and play fair until their actions prove otherwise.

See, posts can be made concerning the subject matter without personal attacks on the posters.

Try it. It's enjoyable.
