Ensenada and Rosarito Beach were lovely places. The locals were warm and friendly, the climate perfect, and the food was amazing and cheap.
We used to get lobster (Pacific) dinners for dirt cheap, and years later I'd give a $20 bill to a street taco vendor and he'd give my friends and I all the tacos we could eat. Carne Asada, carnitas, pastor and lengua. From the looks of things, it appears that the people being killed are all Mexican and affiliated with gangs.
