Most of the fines and rulings against Brooks have to do with his behavior and conduct on the grounds.

Kind of surprised about that -- he's a big guy who dresses in $2 t-shirts and $3 gym shorts and likes to gamble. Always friendly and joking with me when I talk to him.

Good thing Dutrow doesn't stable horses there. He might actually be suspended.

9.60 was a sweet cold double there to close it out.
/not redboarding

just saying 9/5 over 1/2 was an nice surprise....was expecting closer to 6.80

Looks like Brooks has three in tomorrow at PID--any thoughts on these? 12-1 in the 1st and a 2-1 entry in the 7th.

I picked the 1st time Tom Cooper horse on top in the 7th race -- even though it is 20-to-1 on the morning line and looks 200-to-1 on paper off of its last three "efforts"

Does Cooper have access to a private training track? Two workouts off a 7 month layoff, both around 1:03? What am I missing?

I'd be more worried about the fact that the horse is slower than a turtle -- Cooper (whoever he is) gets everything ready to fire. That's a normal worktab for him.

If that's the case, can you explain why you would pick it to win? I'm honestly trying to learn something here, not trying to be obnoxious.
