Coal and oil are ridiculously out of date as fuel. Even trucking companies are going to natural gas.Part of the auto bailout deal was requiring the car companies to hurry up with mileage improvements. BTW, there are corn and wheat speculators (futures traders). And there are subsidies for those crops, too.
