I heard she was quite fine. I know Wonder lady Ann l is. I will forever hate Miraculous Miss for causing that. Wonder lady would have taken that race the way it unfolded with that last 1/2 in almost 51 (50:4).
Wonder lady zoomed in a workout this morning. Went 5 furlongs in 59:1, more than full second quicker than the next fastest move at that distance.
Shes entered in the race at delware this saturday with Ramon Dominguez on board. But its such a quirky track that horses either love or hate that you can never be sure running over there unless the horse has been over it before. On pure ability shes better than what she is entered against.

When Miss flipped under the gate she started thrashing and clipped Wonder lady's hind leg, she was in the adjacent stall to Miraculous Miss. Thats hard luck, damn hard luck when you watch the race unfold after that and see three staggering winos come home the last 1/2 in 50:4 with noone gaining on them. Wanna bet Wonder lady would have been "gaining on them"?

Wonder Lady Anne L would have won that race?

Next thing you know I'm going to read somewhere here that Master Command ran a huge race last time.

The way the race unfolded I think she would have won the race, yes. They staggered home in 50:4 with noone gaining. Shes much better than Fond Romance, and she actually got involved late. The way Wonder lady likes to finish her races, I'd have to say in that staggerfest to the wire she would have been awfully tough to beat. She'd run a 3 and a 5 in her last two on TG. I highly doubt the winner got anything better than a 6.

I don't know that she's much better, if at all better, than LAST Romance. But, more importantly considering the race dynamics, and the fact that NOBODY was making up anything close to meaningful ground in the dirt races, I think it is highly unlikely that the very mediocre Wonder Lady Anne L would have won that race.

I'm sorry...where exactly are her good races?

her Demoiselle was exceptional, her final time being only slightly slower than Bluegrass cat's race on the same card at the same distance. She was hindered by a troubled break that day and a slow pace ahead of her on a track that favored speed and still blew by Wait A While easily. Couldnt handle the slop in her 3Yo debut and in her next start was a very good 2nd to freakish Teammate who was first lasix and allowed an easy lead yet she still beat Wiat A While again. She was making a very wide powerful move in the Oaks and suffered a slight problem and flattened out for 5th(moved up on dQ to 4th). Whatever, she runs in the 175 grand race on Saturday. We'll see how good she is then.

She might have put in a good effort but there is no way of knowing if she beats Bushfire. That horse was tough. The times were weird at belmont because of the wind so hard to say the last half was really that slow.
