Horse looked like he had a ton of run in the 8th today and just got absolutely locked in on the rail. I know he's a cheap claimer, but I think he was primed to run today for a high percentage small barn trainer. He was 6-1 today and I'm hoping that the public dismisses him next out. I can't say for sure he had a ton of run, and I thought when capping the race he was in a bit tough yesterday, but I agree completely with your assessment of the stretch run. Was NEVER given a chance to race, and even when Maragh switched to the rail late, he was never ridden as the horse in front of him drifted back in.
Where he returns is the main issue on whether or not to play him next out.
