![]() Hi folks, my wife and I are heading out to San Diego for a week in August. We'll be making at least one trip to Del Mar. Wondering if anyone had any advice on seating? I'm looking at the website and the second level box seats near the line look prime, but I was curious what other people thought.

![]() My personal two cents, but having been several times, you really can't go wrong. The higher the seat, the better, obviously.

![]() I jumped online last year the moment tickets went on sale. I was visiting the area the third week of Aug last year. Seems like my only choices, even for a Wed and Thurs, were way down in the stretch run boxes (level 2) or stretch run resvd seat (sec 3).
If faced with the two choices again, I'd go for the level 2 box over the reserved seats even though the resvd seats in Sec 3 were close to the finish line. I felt like I was looking out of a concrete pillbox in the resvd seats. The box, while at the 1/4 pole, was wide open and had a great view. Either way, wherever you can get it, go for the box!! Enjoy your trip!! |
