Louisville Courier-Journal and Lexington Herald-Leader have the big Derby overwrap photo covers and best coverage.

I know it's not a newspaper but what about the Blood Horse magazine?

Sorry guys, I should've specified. It pretty much needs to be either the kind of paper that gets carried nationally or coverage that a local paper might just buy into a la AP. I'm not in KY. I've never tried to get a back copy of a paper like the Courier-Journal, but if they'd send it to me, I assume it'd be marked as such. I'm not beyond attempting that too, I'd just like to be able to get one from an actual newsstand first. It's a good idea to try though.

At some point I'll have to call it a day on things like this and go to a new tradition. I'm just trying to hold onto some childhood nostalgia. All it's served to do is frustrate me lately about national coverage of horse racing, but I haven't given up yet. By sheer force of will, I'll get 'em to properly cover this race.
