Yeah, that seems like a recurring problem for them and I honestly don't know why they can't seem to regulate it. I'm not familiar with the setup of where Larry stands and what they do with crowd noise.

I seem to remember it being even worse at the Preakness last year.

CD has four or five booths for various announcers and broadcasters. You can hear noise outside (they're enclosed), but no doubt the crowd you hear on the broadcast is piped in a bit.

Did you watch the You Tube link I sent. It was fantastic, why can't they do that? I am just glad to hear that I am not having hearing problems
