He was apparently a competitive chess player... he said some chess ranking system inspired part of the PAP system.

He will love Arlington on Friday. 52 horses filling 9 races, including one 3 horse and one 4 horse race.
On another note, it is some bad stuff going on at AP. Horseman and track can't reach agreements on several issues, purses cut 20%......awful start to the meet. I'm surprised they even drew entries after reading this the other day..... http://www.drf.com/news/arlington-op...pute-continues
