It was a whole lot of writing just to say 'horses who get eased aren't always injured' ... which is kind of obvious to anyone who follows racing.
The title should be 'Utilizing exhaustive writing and statements of the obvious, NYRA justifies Times phony incident rate with a responce' They ran PA Bred restricted MSW races here for a meet where every starter got $1,500. Horses were entered that would have been 100/1 in 4K MCL races at Thistle. None of them broke down that I can remember...but they always tailed off badly.
