![]() i don't think the nfl is concerned only because of bounties.
the saints lied to investigators and did everything they could to get out of any trouble in the initial investigation, which the nfl finally closed. then they continue to do what they'd been investigated for-not a cunning plan. then there's the fact that former players are now filing suits over injuries; the nfl cannot in any way show a lack of policing on things like this. they certainly want to avoid having to pay millions now and in future to players. sure it's happened elsewhere, but i'm sure the nfl wants that to now only be a part of their past.
