My only shot on a beautiful day. Against Pletcher's horse in the 9th.

Same here. Waltzed on the lead to break his maiden; won't do it again today. Like the 7 and 8 @ anything close to their ML odds.

I just hate how quickly they gave up on him. $180k purchase drops in for $12.5k second time out, no one puts in a claim, and then he needs 49 days to get back to the races after winning. I wouldn't put anything past Pletcher, but those aren't good signs. I think Purest Form is the horse to beat, but included Mott and Dutrow like you as well. G/L!

Purest Form does have a big class advantage, and that is what scares me. I like Tin Pan Indy more than Photon, even though Photon is now in the Dutrow barn. TPI will be making his second start, and the 2nd place finisher from his maiden race won next out. Hoping the "2nd race improve" comes into play here, even though he comes out of the 12.5 MdnClm level.
