By Blood-Horse Staff Updated: Wednesday, March 21, 2012 8:06 PM Posted: Wednesday, March 21, 2012 1:41 PM Dr. Janis Kengis’ Kris Is It, dam of two stakes-placed runners, died March 19 at Nandi Veterinary Clinic near New Freedom, Pa., from a ruptured uterine artery while delivering a Tale of the Cat filly. The filly also died. Sixteen-year-old Kris Is It (Kris S.—Damewood, by Majesty's Prince) was stakes-placed as a 3-year-old.
