When I 'capped, I picked out Pine Island, Spun Sugar and Fleet Indian, on the theory that there was too much early pace for the speed to hang on. Fleet Indian has shown the ability to sit off, Spun Sugar runs lights out every other race ( and guess where we are now), and Pine Island is most likely to pick up the pieces from a pace meltdown; moreover as a 3yo, she is eligible to be improving. Took PI, at 5/1 ML - what a joke that seems now.
