A desparate attempt by who? A guy who Clinton pardoned died. Even liberal papers like the LA Times carried the story. You're going to blame the republicans for this one too?

So now answer me, how is Clinton (six years ago) in any way relevant to current circumstances?
Is this another Repumplican "smoke-screen" to divert attention from their current actions?

I guess if someone dies, it shouldn't even be printed if it's not related to Iraq.

The democrats will probably do very well at the next election. Who cares? Do you think anything will actually change? There is very little difference between the democrats and republicans.

I think it was just filler fact thrown in to flesh out the story....I don't see anything germain to today,other than the guy died and here's part of his story.

This section of the website is titled "Off Topic General". It is not titled "The Iraq Section".

That is hilarious that you would call this thread a "diversion". Just because a thread is not about Iraq, it doesn't make the thread a "diversion".

If anything, the constant talk about Iraq is a diversion. You want everyone to focus on Iraq so that they won't focus on how good the economy is. Unempoloyment is incredibly low right now. The Dow is at an all-time high. I guess things aren't so bad.
