I went back and looked at some of the Expos stats. Take 1984 which if i am correct was his final year with the team, he had 27 HR and 106 RBI's, next year quite a drop off at that postion with Spanky Fitzgerald 5 HR and 34 RBI. Hubie Brooks, Mike Fitzgerald, Herm Winningham and Floyd Youmans.
I knew Brooks and Youmans, but had to look up the other two.

Ok so it was a trade ok, thanks. Gary played with a few guys that went on to be managers. Ken Macha, Jerry Manuel to name a couple. I wonder if he ever had any of those aspirations, he didn't manage in the minors that we know of right?
