He's by Badge of Silver out of a Silver Charm mare. His 2nd dam is Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks winner Bail Out Becky. Good US turf pedigree top and bottom.

All 3 times he's raced with lasix he's run big races. The right horses finished behind him in those races and they've come back and run well since.

It's too hard to gauge a speed figure for him because his 10f win and 12f win came on days when only dirt sprints and turf routes were carded in the other races.

His 8-length MSW win in 1:12 4/5th for 6fs was a very strong win. That same day, Nishme, a top 4-year-old female sprinter in Peru won by 4 lengths over males in 1:12 2/5ths. http://www.pedigreequery.com/nishme

Fly Lexis Fly is unquestionably a better prospect than Tomcito was. Tomcito won the Peru Derby with a late surge inside the final furlong -- Fly Lexis Fly was in front double digits by the same point Tomcito reached the lead at.

Fly Lexis Fly's Derby time was 2:32 4/5ths. Tomcito's Derby time was 2:35 2/5ths. Fly Lexis Fly's Clasico's time was 2:07 2/5ths. Tomcito's Clasico time was 2:09 3/5ths. In both races, FLF was over 2 full seconds faster.

Al Kahali (multiple Graded Stakes winner in the USA - and entered in Gulfstream's two big races tomorrow) started his career in Peru as well -- and certainly was nowhere near as good there. Tomcito ran a distanst 3rd in the Florida Derby behind Big Brown in his US debut. Never did much here. Was a mid 80's Beyer type horse.

This is certainly the best looking horse I've seen come here from Peru. Drysdale is way too careful to rush him along though. Maybe a horse to watch for the summer.

Fli Lexis Fly does not have the experience to run the kentyucky, and even if it runs it will be arriving at night.

We can discuss about the horses that go to the Kentucky, the possible ones,but about logic things, fly lexis fly is not even trained, with such an issue, it is really difficolt that this horse reaches the Derby trial.
