Bodemeister was close to a fast pace at 5.5 in his debut despite a plodders pedigree. He went sub 24 for each fraction today. High cruising speed.

Chad's runner at AQU was greener that the "grass" on the infield but looks to have talent coming out of what looks like the deepest GP MSW of the winter. If he'd changed leads and stayed straight he'd have won by ten.

There have been a few MSW's at GP that I would say were a lot deeper than that race.

The Thunder Moccasin maiden race for instance ... the top four finishers from there are a combined 5-for-5 since...and the winner took a Graded Stakes race at 1-to-5 odds next out.

I did too many tracks today. I was thinking Street Life came out of that race. I stand corrcected. He exited the race Good Morning Diva was in and raced only a short time after that runner won back. Agreed, the Thunder Moccasin race was the best of the GP meet.
