Such a cute baby. I'm so glad it was complication-free by all indications. I hate to ask a stupid question, but how's 125 lbs in the scheme of things? It's like when someone tells me how long a baby is in inches, I have no clue what to do with that information. Is he average, big?

Should be interesting to see what a Bernardini - Medaglia D'Oro cross gets us next year. I can only imagine if those genes combined to give us a filly. Who wouldn't want her in their broodmare band?

PS. I was checking out what was up with Lotta Kim. No idea who's she's bred to for 2012. I'd love to know who Rachel's 2011 full sister's named after. Obviously someone named "Samantha Nicole" but you know what I mean.

Blissfully high-average, typical good-sized TB baby, especially considering how large the mare is.

What a cute baby! Love the brown coat, with the huge splash of white star. Love horses with slightly unusual "chrome", like momma has.

It kinda looks like God gave the little guy the piece of white that's 'missing' from his mom's markings. Way too cute.

Video time! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=313526122022485 I know it's available elsewhere in a different format. Probably Stonestreet's site. He's adorable, Rachel's so attentive. He tries to walk somewhere, she's all over it.

I noticed that. She's already a good mama. Glad both of them are doing well.

Anybody hear about the likely false rumor drama on FB about Rachel? Some folks got info from God knows where that RA was at Rood and Riddle for colic. I only saw it because some fan asked Haskin. Brian Zipse from Horse Racing Nation says his source close to RA says she's fine, no problems going on. Was someone bored today and just decided to entertain themselves by starting this? If so, it's pretty sick. No one reputable has come out with it to my knowledge.

Heaven help us when Zenyatta foals. They'll either make up something sad about her, or say that the foal walked on water within minutes of birth. Or maybe both if they really wanna start a doozie of a firestorm.

I hear that the Zenyatta foal to be has already been penciled in for HOY in 2015.
