I was surprised to see the Pletch horse at the rear of the field with Ted's Folly. He lost contact with the field late on the backstretch when Ted's Folly began his run. JV cut the corner with him and spent most of the stretch trying to get him to the outside.

If Neil Howard wasn't busy trying to make Sir Bond into an 8-mile heats pre-civil war racing type horse... he probably would have won the LeComte today and got some graded earnings.
Instead, he'll have another date with MSW company where he can once against be strangled into complete submission, make a big menacing far turn move, and hang late. |
