I can remember being at the track one day and a friend of mine played the bet. It was an eight race card and he singled six races and took two horses in the other two races for a $4 ticket. In the races that he took two horses those selections ran first and second so he had the bet four times. It was a chalky day but I think his total came back around $2,500.
