Think about the whole D.C area and it makes you wonder what they do with any of the dollars they pull in considering most of the people right outside the area are on welfare and live in poverty and murder and gang violence are the number 1 statistic. Glad to see those millions in revenue at work.

you're right-it would have been repaired one way or another. this way it's now paid for.
and yes, there are folks in d.c. who need help. i shudder to think the annual budget for people receiving help there. i know it's one of the most expensive areas to live in; that's one of the reasons tony and i moved south. one thing i guess i don't get tho-you're saying the guy could have given his money he gave more wisely...so it makes me wonder what you think about all the moneyed folks putting cash into your line of work-do you think it could be better spent elsewhere? just give all the money spent on horses to people who need it?

The elite don't care about poor people. They like showing off big phallic objects. And if they personally don't have one they'll help build or repair one.
If they really respected George Washington they would spend that 7.5 million lobbying to restore our constitution and remove these tyrannical laws that overstep it. |

and in related news.... Al Capone donated to the Catholic church and ran/financed soup kitchens.
