Somehow things seemed "right" having Richard back. Good job by Bobby did great job filling in.

Random observation, but i wonder if looking through binoculars can have an effect on retinal detachment? I had surgery for a detached retina in 2010, Dooley had it six months later, and now Richard?

Eh maybe if you were looking through them a significant portion of the day. How much time, on average, are you looking through binoculars in a week?

Maybe 3-4 hours tops?

I think diet might have more to do with it.

yeah 3 or 4 hours a week probably. It was just a random observation.

diet has nothing to do with it, unless you have diabetes, i know neither John nor myself has diabetes, but i can't speak for Richard.

it's genetic in my family, my dad had retinal issues as well, i have them in both eyes

I disagree. A lack of a proper diet can only hurt and studies have proven that certain vitamins help.

But you can probably find numerous FDA studies that will say otherwise. It's not like they would have an agenda so listen to them.

You should check with the military... Based upon your analysis they most do tens of thousands of these surgeries .
