MMSC:

The trash that have upset you refuse to recognize that this is a team sport. They have no regard for the most important member of the team. The horse. Without the horse we have no racing. Period.

This same trash would never say to your face what they wrote to you because they are lacking a set of round ones.

Please reconsider keeping up with your thoughtful work here. You Miss Cat are all class. Please do not let anyone make you lose sight of that.

my miss storm cat, don't let the turkeys get you down. Your diligence has honored and recorded the passing of the horses. Often, I've wondered what happened to a particular horse, and (unfortunately) find the answer here. Many times a horse's demise isn't recorded in the online "news" publications. Thanks for your efforts.

MMC, you can't quit. You can't.

I agree with all the above... there are quite a few of us here that actually like and appreciate what you do for this place.

Same here. I hope you won't quite because of a couple of . . .

For what it's worth on an internet forum, you have my support and gratitude and respect.

Military Hawk, at 24, due to colic, as always fighting ‘til the end. 86-18-15-19, he raced until age 10 and was the 1992 Washington State Handicap Horse of the Year. He won his last race by a head with Gary Stevens aboard, “all out, driving.” Stevens said he was "a real War Horse."

His owner passed two months ago.
