Hindsight J, you did spread did deep in the first and last legs looking for the price. The feature looked like one of the legs where you didn't have to spread.

Edit: Is it me or did Bejerano never really put Frankie in a real position to win that race?

She never had a chance, but I was totally against her today anyway. Its offical that Lady Pecan is no good. Same with the runner up, no excuse. Even though she feels like one of these Empire Makers who will improve a ton as she gets older and the races get longer... Who knows? Right now shes not much.

Thanks, Math.

I didn't really enjoy the win. Had a Christmas party and didn't check the results while there. Trying to not be one of those douches that is attached to their smart phone. It's a pet peeve that's caught fire in recent weeks. Seems like most people these days are in the matrix and have the attention spans of rocktard.

I think she's a one-run sprinter that was lucky to win the Oak Leaf since it was served up to her on a platter. She'll continue to burn money in route races throughout the spring until they cut her back in May or June.

I'd also be interested to see stats of horses going back to Syn from Dirt after having gone the other way.

Unfortunately Formulator doesn't allow you to have those two conditions, so you'd have to do it manually. Eurton is not a very big-time trainer, so it wouldn't be that hard to do it. If I find myself handicapping a SoCal race and he comes up I'll find his number and post it here. In general it is quite a bit more subjective and will vary by trainer (pretty obvious).

My theory although I can in no way back it up is that Syn is a tiring track and horses improve going to dirt but coming back to a more tiring surface is an issue.

I don't know about you guys, but whenever I looked at a horse that ran on the Santa Anita dirt, I kind of looked at it with a so called * next to the race. I'm just not sure about the suface. It's funny because I toss any sprint on that downhill turf course too.
