It says he was 7 at the time. If he started at 2 that would be an average of 63 starts a year. The Sugar Ray Robinson of horses.

I don't know -- I just left one there and no one replied back when I looked an hour or two later.

Like Jon White said -- there is no Elias Sports Bureau for horse racing and the record keeping for this sport is an absolute joke.

I saw DRF pulled the article for a couple days -- but they put it back up -- and still claim Citation is tied with Roseben -- even though Roseben was before Donald Macdonald.

The most amusing thing to me is that Donald Macdonald won his 19th and 20th race of the year at Laurel...the same place where Laurel's press release claims he can tie the record of 19 with a win.

If this wins in a calender year record is really "one of the most coveted records in North American thoroughbred racing" ... wow.

Sports Illustrated, ESPN, and Reuters have all picked this stuff up... so I guess the "record" is giving horse racing some positive attention.

No Brakes can win that race. I would play that pick 3 because the 2 races after it are decent allowance races. If it stays together, meaning no scratches Ill play No Brakes.
