![]() One of the weirdest forms of the year...
![]() * On Jan 26th - he finishes 7th by 11.5 lengths at 38/1 odds while in for a $10,000 claiming race at Tampa. * On March 12th - he finishes 2nd at 112-to-1 odds in an alw race on turf - finishing ahead of Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf winner Pluck. * Next race - he finishes 4th at 43/1 odds in an N2L claiming race. * Two races later - he's 2nd by less than 2 lengths at 40/1 odds to Caleb's Posse in the Ohio Derby. Look for him in an N2L claiming race at Tampa. |

![]() Also notice that trainer Raymond C. Vernino ran him 3 times with no lasix to start his career ... he ran Beyers of 11, 17, and -0. First time lasix, he won by 7 lengths at 7/1 odds in career start #4.
Basically, first time lasix looks like a big angle with ultra obscure trainer Raymond Vernino -- here's another horse of his who blew up with 1st lasix. ![]() Won at 31-to-1 odds with a 76 Beyer in career start #4 ... after three dud races of 32, 28, and 24 with no lasix. |
