It goes with the territory, challenge the powerful and their whores will attack you at every turn.
At some point you may realize that there isnt much newsworthy that happens at these Occupy places unless it involves somebody taking a dive trying to hit the police brutality lottery ticket.

The fact that American citizens are taking to the streets in protest would seem newsworthy to me. Again, there wasn't much "newsworthy" in our protests in the 60's except when Bull and his boys broke out the fire hoses, dogs and clubs. Even if most of what is happening is mundane, it's still newsworthy and the only way folks rights can be protected in through the presence of "eyes"...social media and left wing coverage will always be subject to question while NBC covering an 84 year old woman being pepper sprayed would have a much larger effect.

You are wrong about the content of what they are protesting being newsworthy. After 2 months it isnt news that they are protesting.

It's been pretty well, 2 arrests in Zuccotti, and the multiple arrests at one corner this morning with the Wall Street NYSE march.

Open another window, and click on that stream .... the police have the protesters stopped at a street, the protesters are being good, but they've stopped the protesters??? The police are trying to barricade the march. Idiots. Where do they expect thousands of people to go? Good lord.

like i said, headlines every day about peaceful protesters being arrested. then you read the article.
trespassing, blocking intersections, stopping traffic, destruction of property, etc.
