Really nice effort - just saw the replay. A few things my untrained eye noticed:
1. She broke beautifully from the gate. 2. Montalvo did a nice job in mid-stretch, moving her from the 3 path to the rail. A very nice trip. Congrats to Gary, Steve and all her backers!

49 Beyer for Ausable Wednesday. It was a most encouraging effort, particularly her sharp break, relaxed stalking mode and solid, persevering finish. Montalvo was not shy about asking her for run or encouraging her with the stick either. Level appears right. Seems to have come back fine. Nice to get her on the board again. Thanks to Gary, Paul and the crew, Carlos for taking the call and producing a run and partners/supporters for their support and confidence in our curious girl. More in the morning.

Just off phone from Gary... All good physically with Sable this morning. Left a little feed in the tub last night but that isn't unusual for her after a race. Gary delighted with her effort from every perspective. Will give her a couple weeks to see how she acts and if all signals are good, will start looking for a similar spot.
