Default abc breeders cup telecast

I live in the Detroit area and ABC showed the EASTERN mi. Ball state game instead of the BREEDERS cup. It looked as if there were less than 10K fans in the stands. I have TVG and HRTV, plus a Twinspires acct. so I was not impacted. Just another insult to horse racing fans in the Detroit area.

As an overall comment on the broadcast ESPN/ABC/ESPN2 should not cover the breeders cup any longer in my opinion. I found the broadcast uninspired!

It was factually incorrect (at one point the commentator says "We could have two Fillies in a row win the Breeders Cup Classic if Harve De Grace wins!" - did someone not tell this idiot Zenyatta lost last year!!!) and painful to watch at times!

Let the guys from HRTV work with the guys from NBC/Versus and the Breeders Cup may just become watchable to the public outside of the everyday racing fan.

I think that someone didn't tell ESPN that there is a lot more interesting races to watch than just the Breeders Cup Classic! Nearly every feature they did on the broadcast was on the Breeders Cup Classic!

The show reeked to me of a network that was forced by a paid contract to cover a sport! It felt like ESPN just wanted to get the event over with and put on College Football!
