Is there anyone you do like? I agree.... not exactly stellar this time around but I only can compare it to the last few years as that's as far back as I go. I'm sticking with Precedence. Not in an excited way and not a massive win bet or anything but he's my pick so will play something small and use him on top and leave it at that.

Anybody see Southern Speed coming? Appropriate in a lack-lustre renewal a 'regional' (Adelaide) stable takes home the gravy. And the nice-horse-but-no-big-deal Californian Unusual Suspect was in the photo for fourth with two other imports of similar merit.

(Hi, Jaripeo).  Anyone see the parade? Was Might and Power there? Who else??? Precedence to win the Cup tonight and I think I'll just keep it simple and do $30. to win and leave it at that since I don't have time. Come home safe and happy Melbourne Cup Day everyone!!! edit - Okay I did $30 to win and $10 to place on him and one exacta.. Precedence, Saptapadi, Lucas Cranach, Hawk Island, Red Cadeaux and Jukebox Jury over Dunaden (yes I am leaving off American) for $2. and that's it.
