Why bother with a helmet cam? It doesn't make for a good shot at all.
ESPN has already pulled this off on many a telecast. The greatest camera angle of all is the overhead blimp angle we get during the Derby telecast and the Dubai World Cup day. I would rate the jockey cam about the worst one ever. Not to knock some college programs attempt at innovation --- but how about developing ways to get fewer timing errors.
