I don't think it's that surprising. . . she hasn't produced anything of note--her A.P. Indy 2yo that Pletcher has for Coolmore looks like a lifetime maiden, and her other foal to race never won. Her Unbridled's Song only sold for $100K and Curlin is completely unproven. If you were going to spend big money yesterday, there were much better places to spend it.
