been a rough trip back through the storms, multiple accidents but none looked serious. in la for dinner, and then home.
fort sumter was something, sustained a lot of damage from several bombardments, amazing that anything is left. the cs hunley was something to see, they hope to remove it from being submerged full tme in a few years. three times she went to sea, three times she went down, with only a couple survivors from the second doomed voyage.
we drove out to see the angel oak, a massive live oak that is purported to be the oldest living thing east of the mississippi.
a great trip...now back to work tomorrow.
