Yeah lots of flooding, etc.. Most people don't understand/respect what floods do. It is, if I am not mistaken, the number one killer of human life from weather. Not to mention the damage it causes. The loss of human life can never be replaced, material things can. But, when your home is under water, you lose so much, if not everything. And when you get 8, 10 inches in a couple hours or 12, it's devastation. I might have been over the top with my previous post but I respect Mother Nature. Yeah, the media coverage was a little over the top but nothing gets ratings like a storm. Not to mention it may have saved a bunch of lives, and for that we should give thanks.

flash foods are the top, but we've had warnings about this storm and its path for some time. if anyone was caught off guard, they must live under a rock.

That flash flood last year at the Albert Pike campground in southwest Arkansas was particularly bad.

Hey drama queen. You will be thrilled to know that Karma is a bitch. I am posting this from the local Starbucks. One half hour after posting

1. A tree fell on my deck
2. We lost power and it hasn't retruned
3. My 50.00 budget P5 play at Delmar hit however (See #2 above)

Here is hoping those 21 stranded people survived hopefully one of them was smart enough to put in their P5 play before they lost power. Oh the Humanity...

At least Joey has YET to blame Obama for hyping the storm to improve his poll ratings.
