![]() I was there on Haskell Day. From what I remember Root, (with the exception of the rail not being the place to be) I thought that the track played fair. Shack ran a big race coming off the layoff. I thought the thing that hurt him the most was Bravo gunning Joe Vann to the lead. IMO the track had nothing to do with it, he got beat by the better horse that day.
