When she had her bug at Tampa, she impressed a lot of trainers in the morning by showing she had a lot of ability. She didn't get many decent mounts in fact didn't really get any mounts until the end of the meet when a lot of the regulars had already left - but made the most of them, improved horses by out-running their odds regularly and even won on a couple of long shots. That was 2 years ago. She didn't even come to Tampa last year. So that was the crux of my post - Clearly she has not turned into the rider she showed she could have been and has her head up her ass... I was simply wondering out loud what had happened to her - thought that was clear. Or maybe it's an English as a Second language thing ![]() ![]() |

Cut me some slack, I'm working on it. I understand what you're saying, Dan. She is probably ranked somewhere in between your opinion of her and mine. If she impressed a lot of trainers in the morning by showing she had a lot of ability, then why didn't she get many mounts? |

Michael Straight was the leading bug at the time, HVG was having an unreal end of the season (due in part to him being Ness' 2nd call guy, then) Centeno, Homiester, and Goncalves had not left, RA jr and Willie were still getting first calls and Morales stuck around... so it was nothing like last year's debacle where all the top flight jocks left for one reason or another, and Orianna Rossi was getting legit rides.
Bad timing... If she had been in Tampa last meet, and had she had her sh1t together, it could have made her career... |
